Typography

Display — Instrument Serif

Headlines, page titles, eyebrows. Italic terracotta inside a serif headline is the brand's recurring gesture.

Therapy that heals.

Section heading style.

Card title style.

Body — Inter

Paragraphs, UI, labels. Loose line height (1.7–1.9 for long-form) keeps reading restful.

Mindfulness is my core foundation. Trained in CBT, ACT, and trauma-informed approaches, I work with adolescents through older adults navigating life transitions, illness, and the everyday weight of being human.

Smaller body — useful for captions, footnotes, and supporting text inside cards.

The voice.

Tone principles
Warm, not clinical.
Plain language with editorial restraint. Long sentences are fine when they earn the rhythm; bullet-point lists belong in admin tools, not the public voice.
Body-aware.
Mention what's happening physically as well as cognitively. Mindfulness, somatic, nervous-system language is welcome — gendered or culturally narrow language is not.
Italic accent for emotional weight.
A single italic word in terracotta inside a serif headline is the recurring brand gesture. Use it sparingly — once per heading, never twice.
Honest about scope.
Therapy isn't a crisis service. The site keeps that boundary visible everywhere — crisis resources in the footer, the contact form's note, the privacy/terms pages.
